Dandelion supplements a diet without overburdening the liver and kidneys, making it a gentle choice. To add Dandelion to your pets diet you can also sprinkle on their food, one teaspoon of dried herb for every 10kg of body weight daily.

Dandelion leaves act as a bitter tonic enhancing metabolism and digestion. It triggers efficient digestion, reduces indigestion, improves nutrient absorption and boosts appetite. Particularly beneficial for animals with chronic indigestion, dandelion leaves can be chewed or applied as a tincture for immediate relief. 

Known for it diuretic and liver stimulating properties,  Dandelion effectively addresses conditions like congestive heart failure, arthritis and kidney stones. Compared to pharmaceutical diure, Dandelion offers potassium without depleting the body of crucial nutrient. While studies suggest that dandelion may be as effective as pharmaceutical diuretics, administration involves warm tea or tincture extraction which may take time. Always consult a Holistic Veterinarian before considering alternative therapies. 

Dandelion root, a safe liver tonic, stimulates bile production & circulation. It aids in digestion, acting as a gentle laxative to promote waste elimination. Unlike many liver stimulating herbs, Dandelion root doesn't give aggravate inflamed conditions and has shown effectiveness in treating inflammatory liver and gallbladder diseases. 

Dandelion flowers high in lecithin, possess mild analgesic qualities without toxic salicylates found in a spring. While not as potent, infusing the flowers in water and administrating drops can offer mild pain relief. Sprinkling on food is also a convenient option.

Dandelion's role in promoting optimal digestion and waste elimination makes it a primary consideration in herbal therapy.

Add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of leaves to a cup of hot water and allow to infuse for 2-3 minutes before straining and serving. Ensure the tea has cooled adequately before presenting it to your dog.
